Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies and similar storage technologies are small pieces of data used by websites to maintain sessions, remember choices, protect accounts and understand how a website is used.

2. Cookie categories used on this website

3. Google Analytics and consent signals

Playa Arena uses Google Analytics to measure website activity such as page visits, booking-page visits, booking-button clicks, calls and other website interactions. The website sends consent choices to Google through Consent Mode so Google tags can adjust their behaviour according to the visitor's selection.

Google Analytics on the Playa Arena website does not measure a completed booking inside the embedded third-party booking platform. Skedda remains the operational source for completed booking information.

4. Meta Pixel and advertising measurement

When marketing consent is granted, Playa Arena uses the Meta Pixel to measure visits and advertising-related actions on this website. This includes booking-page visits, booking-button clicks, pricing views, contact actions, the loading of the embedded Skedda booking area, and a qualified booking-interest signal when the Skedda embed remains at least half visible on screen for approximately 15 seconds.

The 15-second Skedda signal is an engagement proxy for advertising measurement. It does not mean that a booking was completed. Playa Arena cannot read a completed booking from inside the cross-domain Skedda embed through the website Pixel alone.

Where Playa Arena later enables Meta's Conversions API, matching website events may also be sent securely from the Playa Arena server to Meta and deduplicated against browser events. Marketing consent remains required for this website tracking layer.

5. Third-party services

The website may use external services that operate under their own terms and privacy notices, including:

6. Managing your choices

On your first visit, the website displays choices to accept all optional cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage analytics and marketing preferences separately.

You can change your selection at any time by choosing Cookie Preferences in the website footer. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings.

7. Essential functionality

Rejecting optional cookies does not remove essential session and security functionality. Blocking all cookies through a browser may affect logins, account features and other website functions.

8. Retention of the preference

The website stores the selected cookie preference locally on the visitor's device. The preference may be requested again if the stored choice is deleted, expires, or the consent configuration is materially changed.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website, analytics configuration or service providers change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.

10. Contact
